Artist's Description
One of my favorite artists, Deanna White, of Currents Gallery in McMinnville, Oregon, was offering a collage class recently. Man oh man, did I want to go to this class across the mountains. So I convinced my willing husband to go with me and experience two days of a new art form. This was my creation and I've been hooked ever since as you will see in other works. Time consuming? Yes. Fun? Completely. I hope you enjoy too.

Beth Hanson creates mixed media paintings focusing on collage and acrylic portraits. She is inspired by personal relationships, life's little pleasures and subjects which reflect what she loves most, such as enjoying a glass of wine or savoring a cup of coffee.
