Inspired by a bird house at Playa Artists Retreat in Summer Lake, Oregon, what started as a painting soon became an experiment in collage using painted and other papers. The little bird wants the birds in the big house to come out and play. Wouldn't you?
About Beth Hanson
Beth Hanson creates mixed media paintings focusing on collage and acrylic portraits. She is inspired by personal relationships, life's little pleasures and subjects which reflect what she loves most, such as enjoying a glass of wine or savoring a cup of coffee.
