Artist's Description
As with most of my artwork, I love creating portraits from photos of people I know. This is an impression of a friend who recently moved away and myself. Taking artistic license with colors is one of my favorite things about collage. And my friend and I are still in touch making us BFFs.
About Beth Hanson
Beth Hanson creates mixed media paintings focusing on collage and acrylic portraits. She is inspired by personal relationships, life's little pleasures and subjects which reflect what she loves most, such as enjoying a glass of wine or savoring a cup of coffee. A mostly self-taught artist, she follows favorite art teachers to learn new skills to incorporate into her own style. Thank you for your interest in Beth's work.
